(to begin mid-September 2026)

Please apply only if you are a New Graduate RN with no prior RN/LPN work experience or have less than 6 months of LPN/RN experience.

The program requirements are as follows:

Only Applicants graduating with their Bachelor of Science in Nursing are being considered at this time.

A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

You must list your current GPA on your resume AND indicate your top two areas of preference in your cover letter. Failure to complete this step can result in your application being closed.

The areas to choose from are listed as follows: These are the ONLY units available for the Fall Residency

N7A Geriatrics/ Pulmonary – Focused on delivering expert care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions, our unit specializes in:
NICHE geriatric care tailored to the unique needs of older adults
Pulmonary expertise in managing COPD, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions
Cardiac care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and related cardiovascular issues

All resident positions are for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY! You will be hired onto the day shift for the beginning of your orientation and will be transitioned to the night shift at some point in the first six months.

Current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification is required upon entering the program and it must be valid for a minimum of 3 months post the start date of the program.

You must successfully obtain a New Jersey Registered Nurse License (not just the license number) by at least two weeks before the residency start date to enter into the program. Please note that license reciprocity from another state can take approximately 3 months to receive; therefore, it is strongly recommended that you take the NCLEX in New Jersey if you plan on working in New Jersey.

Related working clinical experience is a plus.

Salary

Pay Range: $45.52 – $56.90 (per hour)
