Position Summary
The Massage Therapist will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team including Chiropractors and Acupuncturists to deliver customized therapeutic treatments.  The Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage to patients of various age groups, maintain inventory, equipment, and maintain safety standards associated with treatments and interventions. Patients will require a treatment plan based on their specific needs, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team and in accordance with VMG policies and procedures.

Education
Graduate of an accredited program in Swedish and Shiatsu Massage, with training in a variety of techniques including deep tissue, sports, reflexology, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, manual lymphatic, and myofascial release.  Completion of 500-1,000 hours in clinical practice. Associate degree preferred. Must successfully complete an approved fitter education seminar, including all course requirements necessary.  

Experience
2-3 years of experience in medical massage therapy.  

Special Skills/Qualifications
Current NJ State Massage and Body Therapist license and BLS required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of both massage techniques and the role of integrative therapies in enhancing healing.

Pay Range: $25.97 – $32.46 (per hour)
