Position Summary
To plan, coordinate and instruct didactic and laboratory radiography physics courses for radiography students in accordance with JRCERT Standards and ASRT Curriculum pertaining to radiography instruction in medial physics. Establishes and maintains course objectives by following a lesson plan. Evaluating and assessing student learning and progression.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in medical physics or related field.
· Diplomat, The American Board of Radiology (DABR) certification in Diagnostic Radiologic or Medical Physics preferred. NJDEP licenses as a Qualified Medical Physicist for the Supervision of Quality Assurance Programs for Diagnostic X-Ray Imaging and in Computed Tomography Equipment preferred.
Experience
Minimum one (1) year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program; Is qualified to teach the subject of Radiography; Proficient in course development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
Skills
Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising; Proven interaction and communication (oral, written, presenting) skills to communicate effectively with students, patients, physicians, faculty members, radiographers, and business administration. Demonstrates competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgement. Ability to work independently and cooperatively within an educational environment and with healthcare team members. Ability to use time management skills to set priorities and support the educational process. Ability to use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve, make decisions, and respond appropriately to meet the needs of students, faculty, and the department.

Pay Range: $94,681.60 – $118,352.00
The posted pay range reflects the compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE)
