Valley is a recognized healthcare industry leader in information technology. We understand that effective, collaborative patient care and quality outcomes are dependent on the seamless electronic integration of medical information. This is why information technology and our Information Systems (IS) team are at the heart of our new and ongoing initiatives that continue to transform care. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure connects our more than 4,600 employees and more than 1,500 other users participating in the patient care process. We provide services to all Valley Health System facilities across New Jersey and New York.

Our diverse IS team implements, services, and supports critical computer applications throughout the health system, including systems from Meditech, GE, Allscripts, Athena, and Philips. Throughout our IS team, we understand that we have a tremendous opportunity to make a positive difference every day for our patients, physicians, employees, and other system users. Our team members participate in a number of committees and process improvement teams, and we have strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, business leaders, and administration.
