Manager, Outreach & Outpatient Lab Services
Position Summary:

Responsible for the overall management and integrity of the Outreach Program, Client Service, and Outpatient Department and supervision of Outreach, Client Service, and Outpatient staff. Collaborates with Valley Health System staff to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and practices are followed. The incumbent must strive to continuously decrease costs through improved efficiencies, reduction in overhead, organizational restructuring, job redesign and supply expense reductions while still maintaining service levels
necessary to retain current and acquire new business.

Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology (ASCP), Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.

Special Skills/Qualifications:
Prior Outreach Experience in hospital setting preferred. Working knowledge of financial and marketing analysis and PI techniques. Computer literate. Ability to manage a changing work environment as a result of changing patient needs. Excellent communication and interactive skills to communicate and interact with patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and co workers during day to day, stressful, and emotionally changed situations. Ability to express information in a clear, concise, and organized manner. Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, time management, and customer service skills perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Ability to function independently and effectively problem solve. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Prior Outreach Experience in hospital setting preferred. Clinical or business management experience strongly preferred.
